I thank God for all of those on this prayer list and for all that God is doing in their lives. I could not find a current request to reply to so I decided to thank God for His character which I've come to know from trials, errors, running back to Him, prayers, tears, yearning, reading the Word, despair, deliverance and restoration. I want to thank You Heavenly Father for closing doors and opening new ones. I want to praise You for who You are and what you mean to the world as you love each and every one of Your creation. God is a God of many chances and His love never changes. It is constant and unlike the love of any other. He is merciful, forgiving, graceful, beautiful, Wonderful Counselor, and Mighty God. His peace surpasses all understanding. His son Jesus dying on the cross to give us salvation and to unchain us from sin, was the ultimate sacrifice and ultimate action of love. We have freedom to not live in bondage as the world does. We could never earn His grace and He gives it freely along with the gift of everlasting life to those who believe in Christ and give us their carnal life for that of Christ. I am thankful for all those things and more. I am thankful for a divine purpose and plan for my life. I am thankful for being forever changed in my character and heart and being restored in Christ. I am a new creation! What a reason to celebrate! God gives immeasurable joy..a joy that is promised in His Word. I can have joy amidst difficult circumstances. This shows the power of Almighty God. I am thankful that I dont have to be in control for He is on His throne. I'm filled with compassion for the saints and non-saints as Christ has shown compassion on me many times. I am humbled by the humility and peace of Christ as He walked this earth. His sole purpose was to do the will of God which he succeeded in every way. He cared not for himself but for the well-being of those who had a need for healing, deliverance and redemption. He did not condemn but instead said, "Go and sin no more." I am thankful that I was taught to forgive those who sinned against me. In that way I was freed and so were they. God took my dysfunction and made me thrive by the blood of Jesus. He broke down my strongholds. I am not surprised by anything He has done for me and my family because He has promised all this in His Word. I survived child abuse, a sickly childhood, and an abusive marriage because of my God. I am thankful that He took me in as His adopted child and provided a place of rest and safety. He taught me that this life is not about me but about helping others and so every chance I get I will give the glory to God and choose to love those who need it the most. I am strong because of God's strength in me. The enemy is defeated in my life therefore I praise you Father. You have already won the battle for my life! Thank you for being bigger than all the giants in my life and through tribulation you taught me to focus on your goodnes and not the storm. AMEN!
